Hello Everyone! Thursday is here again!
The internet is an amazing place isn't it? So accessible and never ending. But admit it, you sometimes find yourself so overwhelmed by the information overload that you don't even know where to look for new fresh things.
Here's a little tip! ItHunter is a brilliant website where you can find the "IT" things happening in the world of Coolhunting, Fashion, Art, Music, Trends etc.
Created by Barcelona native based in Berlin Tamara Martin, this site will give you access to all those amazing things happening around the world that you so want to be aware of but have no clue where to start looking (and available in two languages).
So bookmark it now!
Have a lovely day! love moni!
I feel very honored to be recently interviewed by the lovely Katie Cotgrave at conceptforliving & featured in this months magazine. I only thought it would be a tiny mention so I was really chuffed & super excitable when my PR company sent me the two page spread through :)
Hello Everyone! Hope you're all warmed up this Thursday!
My favourite film in the world in "Amelie" A wonderful happy tale about a charming French girl and her lovely crazy world. I watched it for the first time a long time ago and it made me smile the whole time. I particularly liked a certain hobby the "love interest" had. He collected random people's lost passport photos in a big book. It was quirky and special.
Since then I love finding people who have these special books full of things they have collected, made, found or written.
I've had a few of my own, for about 2 years I collected the cinema tickets of films I'd gone to see, then I started collecting heart shaped necklaces and I also have a book of all the postcards I have ever received .
Today I would like to share with you a lovely example of those beautiful collections, enjoy! See you next week! Love Moni.
Meet Christina Song, she´s a Californian Illustrator. This is the start of her brilliant daily book of Illustrations made out of collages. It's beautiful and seems like a lot of fun. If you want to see more of her work, click here.

I've just got back from a lovely weekend away catching up with my best friends at Center Parcs. So I'm feeling all refreshed... lots to catch up on now though!:) We were very lucky to have such great weather over the weekend, it was really mild & sunny. I managed to grab some lovely inspiration for work too, here are a few pretty snapshots that I took over the weekend.
Happy Friday everyone! here are a few more pics taken during my visit to London a couple of weeks ago. I'm always finding inspiration everywhere I go:) I always take a sketchbook & camera with me absolutely everywhere. Think I drive my boyfriend & friends mad with it!
Hope the images inspire you too, have a lovely weekend x
Hello everyone, wishing you a lovely Thursday!
Today I would like to share with you an amazing place that I discovered a few years ago when I was living in Barcelona.
Sometimes when you travel, it's like you're seeing the same things in a different language or landscape; museums, shops, landmarks and don't get me wrong, it's incredibly entertaining and exciting but sometimes what you really enjoy are those random finds that make your holiday.
Papabubble is exactly that. Hidden in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, this little artisan shop offers the chance to experience the wonderful art of candy making.
As you approach the door, a stream or sweetness grabs you by the nose and pulls you inside, once in there you are mesmerized by the wonderful sight of pulling, stretching, rolling and playing with candy. I'm sure we all dreamt about going into the Wonka factory at some point in our childhood, I believe this shop could easily be a tiny version of that, with lively employees instead of Oompa Loompas where you can stand and stare for as long as you want and best of all, you get to taste the end product.. With shops now in 6 different countries, Papabubble is a sight worth seeing, with a happy philosophy and a yummy taste, you should look for one on your next travels. If you can't wait till the holidays, visit them here!
See you next week! love moni.
I've only created a small line of Christmas products this year as I've been so busy with the everyday line & my freelance design work. I promise to have a bigger range next year! (thank you for all your requests)
My 'Quirky Motifs' gift wrap has proven popular with my UK stockists & most of them are offering it as a contemporary & generic xmas gift wrap. If you like this design you can buy it online here
You might like to know that this print was featured in a great design book published by Maomao called 'Patterns' p131.
